CDD Ltd was appointed to undertake RC Detailing of this 17 storey concrete frame, including piled foundations with ground beams, flat slabs, cores and columns.
Located on Atkinson Street in the Hunslet area of Leeds, Victoria Riverside was to be a sympathetic conversion of the former Hunslet and Victoria flax spinning mills which had laid derelict for over 40 years. The full scheme extended to approximately 350 apartments including spectacular rooftop penthouses and a convenience store.
We were really pleased to be appointed to undertake the RC Detailing of this project with them. It’s always great to see derelict or run down spaces reformed into something useful and of value to the community but our experience in this aspect of regeneration meant we knew in advance where the potential issues could arise.
