CDD Ltd were appointed to undertake all of the substructure and superstructure for this project.
The new £10m Wakefield Swimming Pool in the heart of Wakefield city centre, was to include two pools, a fitness centre, a 200-seater viewing area and a cafe. CDD Ltd provided our services directly to the Consulting Engineer. The works included reinforced foundations, basement walls, swimming pools and upper floors.
This was a brand new client for us but our previous experience working with both consultants and contractors means we know what logistics and practicalities will crop up on projects. For instance, we’d provided RC Detailing for swimming pools on any occasions so it always helps to know where we may need workarounds from non standard RC Detailing requirements.
