West Drayton is a former industrial site which will be created into a new waterfront residential development of 87 units contained within four separate blocks.
The site sits within a prime location adjacent to the Grand Union Canal and immediately opposite the new West Drayton Crossrail Station. The apartments are designed to offer attractive water views and high levels of amenity.
These blocks range from three to six storeys and share a common single level basement.
The structures are formed in reinforced concrete and to aid service distribution and minimise floor to ceiling heights, a flat slab solution was selected, with a transfer level slab provided at ground floor level over the basement car parking area.
The basement is constructed from a contiguous piled wall which incorporates water proofing to the perimeter.
